Author Notes:

Banana Yeti is a brush script typeface, featuring a condensed vertical slant, which takes its inspiration from a handcrafted sample created by calligrapher Ross Frederic George as featured in the Speedball 1947 Textbook Manual. This font exudes a vintage brush script aesthetic, making it ideal for applications like food packaging, display elements, logo design, and period advertising. The original design has undergone a thorough transformation and expansion under the skilled hands of the Zetafonts Masterclass 2016 Team. This transformation has resulted in three lighter weight variations and a monoline version. Additionally, the character set has been extended to include support for OpenType features, including ligatures, alternates, various European languages, and decorative ending swashes. Banana Yeti caters to over 40 languages using the Latin alphabet, encompassing a comprehensive range of accents and diacritical marks. It is available in four distinct weights and a special monoline weight. The font harnesses the power of OpenType ligatures to provide elegant swashes, arched letters, and a diverse selection of ligature characters, adding an authentic, handmade touch to your designs. Accessing swashes is as simple as using the glyph palette or typing one to six underscores after a letter. Placing an underscore before a phrase creates arched text, and you can conclude the arch by using another underscore. For unique ampersands, you can access them via the glyph palette or by typing multiple ampersand characters. Please note that OpenType features are developed using OpenType technology and are fully compatible with Adobe software and major design software and operating systems, but they may not be supported by all software, so it's advisable to check compatibility before purchasing. Best of all, this trial font is entirely free for noncommercial use. For commercial purposes and to obtain the full commercial typeface, please visit http://www.zetafonts.com/banana-yeti.
