If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to [email protected]. Bimbo is a monoline script font family developed in 2018 by Francesco Canovaro for Zetafonts. It serves as an extension and redesign of the original Arsenale White typeface, which was created in collaboration with Italian illustrator Jonathan Calugi. Bimbo takes the original design and expands upon it, offering six new weights and introducing over 300 additional characters to support more than 70 languages, including Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic alphabets. It retains the charming handmade aesthetic that made the original font so popular. Primarily designed for display purposes, Bimbo excels in minimal lettering and logo design. It embodies a handwritten sensibility, accentuated by its built-in OpenType feature that ensures double letters always appear distinct from one another. With open counters and a monoline design, Bimbo maintains excellent legibility even at smaller sizes, making it an ideal choice for crafting mock handwritten notes and metatextual humor.
