Ghoulie Tattoo Script was inspired by a photo of a knuckle tattoo script I saw many years ago, when I originally began designing fonts. The photo had only the letters E, R,and C. From there, I interpreted the letters with a little more intensity, and then extrapolated a full alphabet.I always held off of digitizing my work, because I recognized that it's not okay to infringe on someone's personal style or livelihood. In the years since, I never came across another sample of the lettering.A few days ago, I was cleaning and came across my original sketchbook, with the full alphabet tucked inside.
