Korneuburg Slab, a text font family, embodies both character and exceptional legibility. This remarkable typeface originated as a semester project at New Design University in St. Pölten, Austria. Its foundation lies in Korneuburg Display, a headline font that I crafted back in 2011. The inspiration for both fonts draws from the neoclassical aesthetics of the city of Korneuburg in Lower Austria, particularly its numerous archways. While Korneuburg Slab preserves these distinctive shapes, its primary emphasis lies on ensuring outstanding legibility, even when used in smaller text sizes.
