Author Notes:

Ever heard of "et.a.oin shrd.lu" (pronounced et-ee-oin shurd-loo)? It's a quirky term referring to the letters obtained by sliding a finger down the first two vertical rows of keys on a Linotype machine's left side. These letters, though initially meant for temporary markings, could occasionally end up being cast and printed. Interestingly, these particular characters happen to be the twelve most frequently used Latin glyphs in English. They're arranged in an approximate order of their commonality.
