Originally known as "Individual Capitals," these uppercase letters were initially derived from "The ABC of Lettering" by J.I. Biegeleisen, published by Harper & Row Publishers in New York in 1965 (ISBN 65-14683). They have since been redesigned, with the addition of lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation marks, drawing inspiration from various sources, under a fresh name.
