Since I began playing these classic board games with my two children, a remarkable journey has unfolded. It all started when my 4-year-old son pointed out that the blue boot resembled the letter 'L'. This innocent observation ignited my desire to craft a typeface inspired by these timeless retro board games. I diligently worked to incorporate all the original ACTION CONTRAPTIONS and other associated shapes into this font. As time passed, my son has grown to the age of 8, and now my daughter has embarked on her educational journey, delving into phonics using various shapes as teaching aids. After school, our family enjoys the thrill of playing these games, not only for their inherent fun but also as an opportunity to uncover additional letter and number shapes. It was actually my daughter who spotted the letters 'J' and 'Y' cleverly hidden on the tower ball chute and even at the base of the flushing toilet. The excitement of discovering these shapes while constructing our boards added a new layer of enjoyment to our family time.
