Radcliffe is a typeface collection crafted in 2018 by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli. It represents a modern reinterpretation of the traditional Clarendon design, seeking to capture a "contemporary classic" typographic aesthetic. Designed to exude elegance, Radcliffe boasts prominent bracketed serifs, vertical emphasis, and minimal contrast, characteristic of Clarendons. These features are further enhanced with a humanistic sensibility and a calligraphic touch, especially evident in the italics. Primarily conceived as a display typeface, Radcliffe offers a diverse range of meticulously adjusted weights suitable for editorial and logo design purposes. Additionally, the Radcliffe family encompasses Radcliffe Text, comprising five weights with an increased x-height and slightly condensed proportions, optimized for enhanced readability in lengthy web text and smaller sizes.
