While the island of Fuerteventura is primarily renowned for its pristine white sand beaches and consistent winds ideal for windsurfing, it's in the walls of a ballroom near these beaches that Debora Manetti discovered hand-painted letterforms that served as the inspiration for her typeface, Sala de Fiestas. The resulting font is a condensed sans serif with intriguing details and a lively Latino flair that has maintained its freshness and authentic charm over the years. Francesco Canovaro took this original typeface as a foundation for exploring sign painter aesthetics, leading to the development of a new type family known as Salad.
