To achieve swashes in your text using the "Sea Sand Sun" font in Illustrator (which is PUA encoded), follow these steps: To add a beginning swash, type an opening parenthesis "(" before your desired word. To add an ending swash, type a closing parenthesis ")" after your desired word. To insert the "Star Fish" glyph, type the greater sign ">".
